| Below is a list of the 2011- 2012 competition teams. Dancers are placed on teams at the COACH’S DISCRETION based on their ability, attitude, and work ethic. Ages are determined by the dancer’s age as of August 31, 2011.

Tiny’s 3-6 yrs: This team practices once a week for 1 hour. Their classes are designed to teach creative movement, hand-eye coordination, technique, and basic rhythm. They will compete at 3 competitions within the state. Their season will run from June 2011 through April 2012. Their classes are on Tuesdays from 4:00-5:00 p.m. |

Mini Jazz 7-9 yrs: This team practices twice a week for 1 hour and 15 minutes each day. Their classes are designed to teach intermediate to advanced jazz, technique, and creative movement. They will compete at 5 competitions within the state. Their season will run from June 2011 through April 2012. Their classes are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:15- 5:30 p.m. |

Youth Pom 10-12 yrs: This team practices twice a week for 2 hours each day. These classes are designed to teach a combination of dance styles such as pom, jazz, hip-hop, and technique. Their routine will strongly emphasize pom and is made up of solid technical dancers with sharp arm motions, strong jumps, flexibility, and turns. They will compete at 5 competitions within the state. Their season will run from June 2011 through April 2012. Their classes are on Mondays and Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. |

Youth Jazz 10-12 years: This team practices twice a week for 2 hours each day with a built in 30-minute ballet class on one of the days they practice. These classes are designed to make the competitor a well-rounded dancer with a strong focus on technique, style, and flexibility. Their routine will prominently highlight jazz which will consist of the most advanced leaps, turns, and flexibility tricks. They will compete at 5 competitions within the state. Their season will run from June 2011 through April 2012. Their classes are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00-6:00 p.m. |

Jr. Pom 13-15 years: This team practices twice a week for two hours each day. These classes are designed to teach a combination of dance styles such as pom, jazz, hip-hop, and technique. Their routine will have a strong emphasis on pom and is made up of solid technical dancers with sharp arm motions, strong jumps, flexibility, and turns. Jr. Jazz 13-15 years: This team practices twice a week for two hours each day with a built in 30 minute ballet class on one of the days they practice. These classes are designed to make the competitor a well-rounded dancer with a strong focus on technique, style, and flexibility. Their routine will have prominent emphasis on jazz which will consist of the most advanced leaps, turns, and flexibility tricks. They will compete at 6 competitions with one of those being out of state. Their season will run from June 2011 through April 2012. Their classes are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m. |

Open Jazz/Variety 14 yrs and older: This team will practice twice a week for two hours each day. These classes are designed to teach intermediate to advanced technique, flexibility, and a variety of skills. Although their routine will have emphasis on jazz; it will also include hip-hop, and technical skills. They will compete at 7 competitions with 1 of those being out of state. Their season will run from June 2011 through April 2012. Their classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30-9:30 p.m. |

Sr. Pom 16 to 18 yrs: This team practices twice a week for two hours each day. These classes are designed to teach a combination of dance styles such as pom, jazz, hip-hop, and technique. Their routine will have a strong emphasis on pom and is made up of solid technical dancers with sharp arm motions, strong jumps, flexibility and turns. They will compete at 7 competitions with 1 of those being out of state. Their season will run from June 2011 through April 2012. Their classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-8:00 p.m. |

Sr. Jazz 16 to 18 yrs: This team practices twice a week for two hours each day with a built in 30 minute ballet class once a week on one of the days they practice. These classes are designed to make the competitor a well-rounded dancer with prominent emphasis on technique, style, and flexibility. Their routine will strongly focus on jazz which will consist of the most advanced leaps, turns, and flexibility tricks. They will compete at 7 competitions with 1 of those being out of state. Their season will run from June 2011 through April 2012. Their classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Jr. Prep 7-12 year olds: This team practices once a week for two hours. Their classes are designed to teach a combination of dance styles such as pom, jazz, hip-hop, kick, and technique. Their routine will be a variety routine and will be composed of all of the styles listed above. They will compete at 2 competitions one will be in the beginning of the competition season in January and one will be at the end of the season in April. They will only compete at one day competition events. Their season will run from June 2011 through April 2012. Their classes are on Fridays from 5:00-7:00 p.m. |

Sr. Prep 13-18 year olds: This team practices once a week for two hours. Their classes are designed to teach a combination of dance styles such as pom, jazz, hip-hop, kick, and technique. Their routine will be a variety routine and will be composed of all of the styles listed above. They will compete at 2 competitions one will be in the beginning of the competition season in January and one will be at the end of the season in April. They will only compete at one day competition events. Their season will run from June 2011 through April 2012. Their classes are on Fridays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. |
****Along with competing all teams will perform at the dress rehearsal in January.
